Job Description:

Job Title: Facility Representative Support

Location: Department of Energy (DOE)/ Operations Oversight Division (OOD)/Richland, WA; work shall be conducted at DOE's Hanford Field Office (HFO) and may be telework eligible at the discretion of the DOE Technical Monitor (TM) in consultation with the DOE Contracting Officer (CO). If this position is identified as telework eligible, there will be a 30-day waiting period in which 100% in-office support will be expected. If in-person support is identified as required for any reason and for any length of time by the TM or CO, the contractor shall report for duty in person as requested.

Clearance: Ability to obtain a public trust security clearance

Citizenship: US citizenship required

Hours: Full-time employment (FTE)

Compensation: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00; compensation based on years of relevant work experience, educational background and related skill set.

AttainX, Inc. is in search of an experienced Facility Representative to support DOE's Assistant Manager for Safety and Quality (AMSE) in the OOD.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or business management.
  • Six years of experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree requirement.
• A minimum of nine years of combined experience in the following areas:
  1. Nuclear conduct of operations
  2. Construction safety and oversight
  3. Nuclear facility testing and commissioning

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of the Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities.
• A fundamental understanding of nuclear, mechanical, electrical, chemical and physical science concepts and their application to facility operations, environmental cleanup, facility deactivation and decommissioning (D&D), waste management to include associated safety management programs.
• Experience in safety inspections, evaluations and assessments, incident investigation, management review and appraisal techniques and quality assurance.
• Capable of reading, interpreting and understanding regulations associated with DOE, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Nuclear Regulatory Commision (NRC), state and local plus related industry standards by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (AMSE), Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• Prepare for reviews and evaluations.
• Document reviews
• Activity observations
• Safety interviews
• Prepare documentation of completed evaluations.
• Communicate evaluations to DOE.
• Evaluate contractor corrective actions.
• Evaluate corrective action closure.
• Data gathering
• Review technical documents.
• Data reduction
• Review/assess team support.
• Interface with DOE subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Assist with administrative functions.
• Support actions assigned to OOD.
• Provide written and verbal communication regarding activities performed in support of AMWTP.
  • Reports and entries into a shared database
  • Briefs to OOD Director and FRs
• Assist with oversight documentation reports to be entered into the DOE Hanford database (iCAS) as operational awareness, surveillances or assessments in accordance with Site procedures.
• Utilize effective verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills in all team interactions and work relationships.
