Position Summary:
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
Develop, implement, and execute strategic materials management processes in support of maintenance and business objectives while improving and optimizing spare parts inventory accuracy and establish proper metrics for equipment performance.
Evaluates supplier processes and partners with suppliers to establish Best in Class performance.
Accountable for maximizing service levels of MSR, in conjunction with inventory goals, through distribution requirement planning and deployments. Responsible to provide management with inventory projections and proactively identifies service level issues.
Drives the development of SAP to ensure compatibility with GMP and regulatory compliance of work order management.
Monitors and suggests strategic improvements to current SAP setup, justifies these changes and drives implementation.
Organizes, maintains, coordinates and manages the departments' Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and spare parts.
Ensures that necessary spare parts and replacement components are entered into the MSR area and SAP number is assigned.
Generates appropriate performance metrics to measure equipment and maintenance performance.
Drives SAP training to maintenance and manufacturing areas as needed.

Judgement is required in resolving all day-to-day problems.
Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with external contractors/vendors.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
