Location: Walnut Creek, CA

Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $70.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineer-System Performance - III in Walnut Creek, CA.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Create new cell site translations and support of regional build program activity POR.


• Auditing New Node parameter, settings, alarms and functional tests.


• Update site/node translations to accelerate in-service process.


• Optimize 4G & 5G UWB and Low Band features and parameters to improve network performance


• Maximize coverage and capacity with existing resources


• Responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the network and reduce lost calls and ineffective attempts;


• Support System Performance and RF Engineers in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• working knowledge Ericsson platforms: RF System Optimization techniques for voice and data, LTE and 5GNR
  
  


• Understanding of intermodulation, distortion, interference detection, and mitigation techniques.
  
  


• Understanding of antenna characteristics or antenna system design and selection.
  
  


• Understanding of frequency planning constraints and requirements such as C/I, co and adjacent channel criteria.
  
  
  
  


• Experience using Test equipment including: DMAT, DataPro, pilot scanners, baseline equipment, spectrum analyzers.
  
  


• Proficient in office computer applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
  
  


• Python, SQL and Tableau a Plus
  
  


• Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
