EHS MANAGER at The Judge Group Inc. in Springfield, Massachusetts

Location: Springfield, MA

Salary: $100,000.00 USD Annually - $125,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
The Judge Group is searching for an EHS leader to manage and develop an EHS team in the Springfield, Massachusetts area. You'll be responsible for creating and implementing EHS policy, initiatives and programs to improve environmental, health and safety performance.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations including those required by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)


• Ensure all timely compliance with reporting and filing requirements


• Implement process to regularly audit operations for existing or potential accident and health hazards and recommend corrective or preventative measures
  
  


• Work closely with Operations in supporting EH&S needs including regular reviews of ergonomics and job safety hazards
  
  


• Maintain protocols for hazards in the workplace including dangerous chemicals, hazardous substances and other risk exposures
  
  


• Develop and maintain effective EHS training for all business unit
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years track record of delivering results in EHS program development and management in Manufacturing environment
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred
  
  
• Strong knowledge of OSHA management concepts, regulations and practices
  
  
• Work requires problem solving skills and ability to analyze data and make rational decisions
