Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director, the administrative assistant will greet visitors, oversee student administrative assistants, report on office budget activity, review and edit office Web site pages and resource materials, facilitate campus announcements across various Student Life and University outlets to promote office initiatives, coordinate the tracking of Vector online courses, and assist with all daily operations of the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Greets visitors, answers phone calls, directs internal and external consituents to appropriate resources, and responds to
e-mails through the healthbytes@villanova.edu office account.
Reviews and edits office Web pages and other office materials (Microsoft Teams, print materials, Stall Street Journal, Thrive 365 programming menus, etc.) on a routine basis to ensure accuracy.
Assists the Director with tracking incoming student completions of online courses; and all office event and well-being coaching engagements.
Manages the schedules of student admininstrative assistants, delegates assignments, and oversees their daily performance.
Manages Health Services Building Room 200 reservations.
Orders all supplies for the office which includes coordination of materials with other departments.
Maintains organization of all office programming materials.
Assists with setup for all programs as needed.
Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education
High School diploma is required.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of 3 years of general administrative assistant work experience.
Minimum of 1 year experience working with the computer software required for the position.
Specific Job Knowledge
General knowledge of office management procedures and specific administrative skills. Specific knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher, Excel, Banner and Front Page or other webpage design software. Understands and appreciates the mission and values of Villanova University.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate under general direction with appropriate supervision.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Health promotion programs are held off site which may require carrying of supplies up to 25 pounds and standing for 3-4 hour periods of time.
