We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Test Engineer to join our team. The primary focus of this position will be on design verification and compliance testing for electrical products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical testing and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements, and a commitment to ensuring optimal product quality and customer experience.
Where you come in:
In-depth Knowledge of ASTM 60601 Standards: Expertise in the specific requirements and testing procedures for medical electrical equipment.
Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of global regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret and apply these standards to product designs and processes
Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.
Prepare detailed test plans and procedures for design verification and compliance testing, ensuring products meet requirements and regulatory standards.
Analyze test results, document findings accurately, and provide recommendations for improvements.
Design, fabricate, document, and troubleshoot new test fixtures and equipment.
Improve and/or optimize existing test equipment, fixtures, and methods.
Support the development of new or improved test methods simulating actual product use conditions.
Generate and execute test protocols leveraging statistical best practices, documenting the results.
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience or Master's degree with 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
