We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic professional to join our Product Control function within the Fund Management team for Global Credit. In this newly created role, you will focus on Fund FP&A and Analytics for Private Credit investments, supporting the financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making process. This individual will be responsible for developing and managing fund financial models, analyzing fund performance and preparing forecasts.
This role offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global FP&A, Fund Management, Portfolio Management, and Deal Teams, ensuring alignment on financial objectives and strategic initiatives. Beyond the core responsibilities, this position will play a pivotal role in refining processes within the rapidly growing credit segment. You will help drive improvements in operational efficiency, process transformations, and contribute to various strategic initiatives such as technology implementations. Responsibilities
Fund Reporting & Analytics (40%)
Develop and maintain detailed financial models for fund forecasting, budgeting, and various scenario analysis. Drive continuous improvements in modeling capabilities to create scalable, robust solutions that align with segment's growth and goals. Understanding of fund structures and key performance metrics is a plus.
Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to identify risks and opportunities for fund optimization.
Enhance and automate reporting tools and dashboards to provide actionable insights for key stakeholders to support their strategic decision-making process.
Facilitate alignment on fund forecasts and budgets through conversations with the deal team, portfolio management, and Corporate F&PA. Provide insights into fund revenue and expense management, ensuring alignment with fund objectives.
Identify and implement process improvements to elevate the efficiency and accuracy of fund analytics and reporting.
Valuations (45%)
Assist in reviewing investment valuations across all Private Credit funds, including Private Equities and Private Real Estate, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) ensuring valuation models are sound and assumptions are well-documented and supportable.
Facilitate alignment on valuation marks through conversations with the deal team, portfolio management, and third-party valuation firms.
Support the development and refinement of valuation models to better address credit investments.
Process/Technology Initiatives (15%)
Assist in driving strategy within vertical on data and technology initiatives with respect to investment, fund, and investor data to drive consistent reporting across products.
Document policies and guidelines, partnering with other functions, that helps improve quality and promotes consistency across Global Credit
Promote ongoing adherence to established policies and guidelines, promoting a culture of compliance and consistency throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
Bachelor's degree, required
Concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, preferred
CFA or progress towards CFA is a plus
Professional Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of overall relevant experience required.
Prior experience in private credit, with a focus on financial modeling and fund FP&A a plus
Firm understanding of credit fund mechanics and key performance metrics
In-depth knowledge and experience analyzing and modelling cash flows
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Anaplan a plus
Strong finance and reporting experience with advanced knowledge of the alternative investment industry
Ability to work across departments and teams in a collaborative and efficient manner

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
