Senior Consultant - AI / GenAI / Data Science Solution Delivery Lead

As a Senior Consultant specializing in AI / GenAI and Data Science solution delivery, you will have the chance to share your experience and knowledge in solutioning sessions, translating complex business objectives into actionable AI-driven solutions. This role involves designing solution architectures that enable data-driven decision-making and developing statistical and machine learning models for various applications.


What You'll Do

• Contribute to pre-sales and project delivery.


• Lead and participate in solutioning sessions, translating business challenges into AI solution architectures.


• Design AI solutions for data-driven decision-making, including building models for trend analysis and forecasting.


• Facilitate discussions on data science opportunities, guiding stakeholders to understand the potential of analytical data.


• Integrate diverse data sources to establish a unified view of the client's data landscape.


• Analyze large volumes of data to extract meaningful insights programmatically.


• Utilize feature engineering, statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI to implement AI solutions.


• Create data visualizations to explain complex data patterns to non-technical stakeholders.


• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and generative AI, understanding different models and their applications.


• Manage workstream delivery teams and contribute to Agile processes and project status reporting.


• Serve as an AI project architect to co-design analytics solutions with clients.


• Contribute to the implementation of AI solutions, including AI training/evaluation pipelines in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure.


• Help mentor team members, fostering their development in the field of AI.


• Co-lead internal operations such as staffing and maintaining AI enablement programs.


• Co-lead internal initiatives to enhance knowledge, awareness, and best practices of AI solutions within Slalom's local and regional consulting markets.


What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field with 8+ years of experience in designing and building data science or AI pipelines.


• Proficiency in some or all of: Python, R, SQL, and experience with libraries like pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, AWS boto, matplotlib, seaborn, tidyverse, ggplot. Big data experience is a plus.


• Experience with deploying AI solutions in production on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.


• Knowledge of AI modeling theory and practice.


• Experience in designing and implementing GenAI system architectures.


• Experience leading high-performance analytics project delivery teams using Agile processes.


• Executive-level communication skills to engage with senior business stakeholders.


• Pre-sales experience in AI project scoping, solutioning, and planning.


• Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.


• Proficiency with BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker is a plus but not a hard requirement.
