Achieve branch sales operational objectives by contributing branch sales information and recommendations to National Sales Director; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; identifying and recommending sales system improvements; implementing change as directed
Meet branch sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for branch in support of corporate objectives
Maintain and expand customer base; build and maintain rapport with key customers; identify new customer opportunities
Recommend product by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks
Accomplish sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of all branch sales staff
Responsible for employee relation issues, including performance appraisals, coaching, safety training, etc.
Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all team members including approval of all commissions
Education, Experience, and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree. Experience may substitute for education.
3-5 years of successful sales experience
Previous experience selling lawn care is highly desirable
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and task management skills
Demonstrated multi-state or large territory management skills
General Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability
Demonstrated competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills
Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the projects Team
Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with internal and external customers.
Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP / CRM systems.
Must be able to meet company driving standards to drive a company vehicle.
Wage Range: $55,000 - $60,000 plus commission and bonus opportunity of 25% - 50% annual salary.
