Director of Client Solutions Architect (Strong internal)

Salary range $126,000 - $132,000

As Director of Client Solutions Architect you will join Sedgwick Government Solutions, an innovative company offering a unique set of services in Federal Workers' Compensation, Specialized Health Program Management, Employee Benefits, Disability Management, and Absence Management.

The Director, Client Solutions Architect will be responsible for working collaboratively with associated teams to support and lead our client solution development, architecting solutions and technical approaches to support the capture of new business. The role includes responding to business opportunities that focus on managed care, property/casualty solutions, Federal workers' compensation, and other government contracting opportunities. The role will lead creation of compliant and compelling solutions to meet requirements set forth by potential government clients. It is a critical role in shaping and constructing technical proposals, leading project management for solution design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.


Responsibilities

  • Lead in coordinating new business opportunities with sales and growth leadership, operations, and other teaming partners as needed
  • Facilitate and support identified new business opportunities through the sales capture process and successfully transfer new work to our implementation services and operational partners
  • Collaborate with business development and business units to support the completion of all activities related to “Client Solution Development” that includes leading or assisting the scoping of the technical solution, pricing, developing collateral, and managing internal sales capture processes
  • Work effectively in a matrixed organization, leading, facilitating, and program managing all efforts with aligned departments
  • Collaborate with our internal team to develop solutions and client value propositions that will win the work and drive desired outcomes
  • Work with leadership teams to help design cost and delivery models for a client-focused solution; develop mitigations for client (and internal) workflow challenges; integrate yield opportunities into our solution; provide recommendations related to workforce configuration alternatives, -- and prepare client reach presentation materials in a thoughtful/sophisticated manner
  • Partner to develop new Products and Solutions, by organizing internal or partner capabilities
  • Integrate the capture of new business and adhere to Sedgwick Government Solutions' process for internal gate reviews and transition of awarded business to operations
  • Create collateral to win RFPs and non-structured opportunities in any standard Microsoft applications
  • Work closely with operations, business development, contracting, pricing, advisory, and all other implicated areas of the organization to produce the strongest deliverables
  • Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies that will result in opportunities or threats for the company
  • Assist sales and senior management in new business development that relies on emerging technologies
  • Support business development activities, including:
  • Assist in the identification of potential clients and opportunities through the utilization of multiple channels
  • Assist outreach activities for potential clients and opportunities
  • Provide technical writing and graphic/design support as needed
  • Assist in the creation of presentations and collateral as needed
  • Interact with vendors and contractors
  • Support Innovation & Product Development activities, including:
  • Provide administrative duties defined below
  • Support training and communications initiatives as related to targeted projects and/or products
  • Assist in requirements gathering and documenting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide technical writing support as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of healthcare, claims, and/or managed care administrative, marketing, business development support experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting federal business development efforts and/or direct government contracting (i.e., project management, program management, or client success/account management).
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in CRM (Salesforce, Zoho, MS) is preferred, but not required
  • Experience in MS Project preferred, but not required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Work independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest customer service, quality, and results
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Federal Government Security Clearance
