Salary range: $26.26 - 36.76 per hour
*This position is open to candidates located in the Tri-Cities, Central Washington, and Eastern Oregon regions.*
The Physical Security Technician is responsible for supporting the security and safety of all STCU members, staff and assets by maintaining video monitoring functions, applying appropriate access controls and responding to alarm notifications. The position is the primary team member responsible for responding and completing physical security service requests by assessing request appropriateness, prioritizing request urgency and collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful resolution.

Other Essential Functions
Education: Associates degree in information technology or trade training relative to technology or network connectivity preferred.
Certifications: American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) certification, technology certification or security industry certification preferred.
Job Experience: Minimum two years of physical security experience including proficiency in access control systems, alarms and video surveillance operations/administration or two years experience as a technology service technician with demonstrated proficiency in independent troubleshooting and problem resolution related to device function or network connectivity.
Software Skills: Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
Equipment Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in video surveillance, alarm and access control systems or PC/network support and troubleshooting.
Physical Demands: Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 40 pounds with accommodations.
Work Conditions: Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds at a low or moderate level consistent with an office setting. Exposure to high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Travel Demands: Occasional travel to STCU locations may be required.
