System Performance Engineer | Schertz TX or Austin TX or Irving TX (Hybrid) | 12+ Months Contract

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years




Responsibilities:


Responsible for collecting and using hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize the LTE and 5G network.

Representing the team for feature related projects, new node integration, and other centralized tasks by meeting deliverables and holding other parties accountable per project plan.

Troubleshooting hardware and performance problems independently or by coordinating with other teams.

Supporting Network Performance in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems.

Reporting issues to appropriate engineers.

Resolving customer service issues, assisting in implementing solutions, and collecting drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.



Must Have Skills (Most Important):


3-5 yrs of RF Optimization Experience including LTE and 5G.

Proficient in Office Tools like Excel and others.

2-3 Yrs of Parameter Optimization Experience in LTE plus 5G Technology.



Desired Skills:


Knowledge of Samsung RAN System

Scripting using Python or other coding languages.

Familiar with SQL and Database queries.



Education/Certifications:


Bachelors Degree preferably in Electrical/Telecommunication Engineering.
