Location: Biddeford, ME

Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $130,000.00 USD Annually

Description: One of our clients in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire a Cost Accounting Manager.


Full Time, Direct hire
Onsite in Biddeford, ME


This role will be responsible for all inventory and job cost gathering and reconciliation, as well as reporting to senior leadership on Job Cost success against budget. You will also act as the primary liaison with governmental contracting and auditing agencies.


Responsibilities:

• Determine costs of business activities (materials, inventory, labor).
  
  


• Analyze cost impacts of product design and manufacturing changes.
  
  


• Prepare cost analysis reports.
  
  


• Manage project costs, estimates, and budgets.
  
  


• Assist in monthly financial statements and audits.
  
  


• Prepare billings for cost-type contracts.
  
  


• Maintain Fixed Assets schedules and ERP system integrity.
  
  

Qualifications:

• BS in Finance/Accounting.
  
  


• 5+ years in accounting.
  
  


• Knowledge of FAR/DFAR, CAS, GAAP, and MRP accounting.
  
  


• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  
  


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
