JOB SUMMARY

The North Texas Retail Division Manager will be responsible for owning sales execution in North Texas for Off Premise. They will assist in achieving all volume and distribution goals for The Wine Group, Inc. portfolio of brands across the Off-Premise channel. The North Texas Division Manager will lead sell and execute brand standards and priorities in a select list of regional and independent accounts across the NTX Division. Working closely with Sales Directors, Area Managers, and Sales Representatives, the Division Manager will spearhead efforts to increase TWG’s market share, execute programs, and prioritize brand initiatives effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • Responsible for executing TWG retail brand and SKU standards across the Off Premise NTX account universe.

  • Responsible for executing TWG programs and priorities across the NTX Off Premise account universe.

  • Role focuses on in-market execution performance.

  • Manage depletion and distribution objectives for assigned geography.

  • Collaborate with TWG team and distributor network to ensure key initiative, program, new item, and monthly retail priority execution.

  • Schedule and lead effective distributor sales meetings with NTX off premise personnel.

  • Collaborate in effective distributor sales meetings alongside internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain key account relationships and lead sell with-in assigned geography the SGWS TX retail chain and off premise independent teams.

  • Organize, lead, and assist in distributor crew drives.

  • Introduce creative sales execution concepts, aspire to be a thought leader, and establish best practices within the region.

  • Attend tastings events, wine dinners and team outings.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Preferred 5 or more years of sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry or related business with knowledge and passion for both commercial and premium wines.

  • Must reside in North Texas “Dallas/Ft Worth Area.”

  • Must have strong understanding and working knowledge of alcoholic beverage industry retail environment.

  • BA degree or equivalent experience.

  • Intermediate wine knowledge or associated certifications preferred.

  • Well organized with ability to work both independently and within team environment.

  • Must be adaptive to change within organization and industry.

  • Results oriented, innovation, strong problem solving and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work at a fast pace.

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work and succeed in dynamic entrepreneurial environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willing to travel with overnight stays as needed.

  • Display integrity, character, and strong leadership skills.

  • Support and model all company procedures and policies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


  • Ability to travel frequently between home office, client sites, and industry meeting/events.

  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks.

  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.

COMPENSATION


  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $100,000 - $150,000.

  • Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
