Job Location:  350 Faraday Ave, Jackson, NJ 08527

Job Summary

SCA maintains of fleet of sweepers, dump trucks, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, attenuators, and various other support equipment. The Yard worker is a valuable support role for our operations. 

Job Duties:

• Maintain the cleanliness of trucks and support equipment.


• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard.


• Power Washing assigned equipment and/or sites, as needed.


• Support mechanic with different tasks, such as getting parts.


• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License, Required.


• Clean Driving Record, Required.


• Mechanical aptitude and industry experience, Preferred.


• Desire to learn and advance into a mechanic or driver position.


• Regular Attendance, Required.


• Use all required PPE, Required.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.


• Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.


• Moderate lifting - no greater than 50 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.


• Work performed in outdoor environments and exposure to variable and sometimes adverse weather conditions.


• Work in high noise environments with exposure to vibration and fumes


• May be exposed to solvents, chemicals, and refuse.


• May be exposed to other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and trucks-CDL related.
