Transformation Leader

Position Summary

  • Schneider Electric is seeking a motivated individual to serve as Transformational Leader. You will be responsible to lead a team through all phases of the new product launch.

What will you do?

  • Manages a cross-functional team within the specific industrialization expertise domains to achieve project KPIs (assembly, test, quality, project management, product cost, fabricated parts)

  • Monitors the performance of the team through KPIs related to time to market, project cost, quality

  • Aligns will the Global Supply Chain (GSC) requirements such as Schneider Production System (SPS) and Smart Factory

  • Delivers the mandatory requirements defined by GSC Strategy & Performance global team

  • Intimately involved with development of industrial footprint and strategy within the business unit. Helps to align new product development launches with the industrial strategy for the plant.

  • Develops his/her team according to the competency strategy linked to technologies and innovations. People development includes technical skills, soft skills and personal development skills.

  • Ensures the successful ramp-up and transfer to the plants through definition of welcoming expectations, training and post launch support to achieve the agreed upon metrics prior to project close

  • Aligns with other Industrialization functions across all the Business Units teams for best practices and standardization opportunities


What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics

  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing industry directly supporting assembly operations

  • Experience in Methods, maintenance or factory production support

  • Receiving new products into operations facility, OR Realization of industrial process in operations facility with new product

  • Application on Lean and Six Sigma techniques - Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Value Stream mapping, Kaizen events, Visual Workplace, etc.)
