Position Overview: As a Senior Chiller Technician, you will take the lead in maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting our HVAC fleet, with a focus on large tonnage air conditioning systems and chillers. Your role will involve both hands-on technical work and mentoring responsibilities to help grow the skills of junior technicians.


Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary technician for large tonnage air conditioning systems and chillers, conducting troubleshooting, pre-deployment testing, and repair services on-site.
Lead special projects, including researching obsolete replacement parts and exploring refrigeration conversion options for existing equipment.
Act as the primary point of contact during the transition of rental fleet systems to remote monitoring capabilities.
Mentor and train new Chiller and Service Technicians across branches, fostering skill development and team collaboration.
Contribute technical expertise to support turnkey chiller and large air conditioning rental installations.
Perform other duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to team goals.


What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience (5-7 years) working with large tonnage HVAC and chiller systems.
Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex HVAC systems and chillers, with in-depth knowledge of system applications.
Universal Certification required.
Strong consultative and leadership abilities, with a demonstrated history of mentoring and guiding team members.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel as needed to support operations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, including data entry and reporting.
Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
Comfortable with computer use, including internet navigation, email communications, and order-entry systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
Positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques.
Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
Must successfully pass a background check.


Work Schedule: This position may involve a rotating on-call schedule, with availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak seasons. Travel may also be necessary. Overtime and double-time pay rates apply for qualifying hours worked.
