General Schedule


Position typically works Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm in-office at UCO's main campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.



Position Overview:


Develop, implement, and manage programs, processes, services, and policies related to student accountability. Work with faculty and students on academic integrity issues and procedures. Conduct assessments, collect, and utilize data to enhance processes, report student behavioral trends, and implement necessary programmatic and policy changes. May represent Student Affairs and the Office of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution on various committees and organizations. Collaborate with other entities on campus to create, implement, and track educational sanctions.



Department Specific Essential Job Functions:



  • Main hearing officer for academic integrity cases.

  • Investigates and adjudicates various student conduct cases.

  • Serves as an investigator within the University's Title IX processes.

  • Acts as department lead for restorative justice initiatives.

  • Serves as Proxy member for the Director of Student Accountability & Conflict Resolution on the BAT Team.

  • Assists in annual review and revision of student conduct policy and protocol practices.

  • Assists in developing and streamlining/updating OSACR operations.

  • Plans programs and events to assist in educating students and groups on accountability and conflict resolution.

  • Assists in the supervision of the Graduate Assistant, Interns, and Student Worker/Office Assistant. Recruits and trains members for the Committee on Student Conduct.

  • Manages Committee on Student Conduct Hearing and Appeal Hearings.

  • Assists in the annual Integrity Week planning and preparation.

  • Coordinates partnering efforts with Title IX, and other campus resources to provide services and assessment for students.

  • Collaborates with and assists with the coordination of proactive and responsive investigative partnering efforts with Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life for students.

  • Assists with creating and updating online forms, as needed.

  • Assists with Broncho New Student Orientations, including Departmental Table Booth Promotions and Volunteers.

  • Assists in developing ongoing sanction learning workshops for students.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications Required:



  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience that provides extensive knowledge of fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.

  • Requires the application of expertise in a chosen field to achieve results. 2+ years of experience with leading planning, including program development and innovation, program prioritization, and assessment. Extensive knowledge and comprehensive understanding of functional areas. Appropriate profession accomplishments and credentials.

  • Experience and strong evidence of an appreciation for restorative approaches to student conduct.



Qualifications Preferred:



  • Accepted into Master's degree program, preferred fields are listed here: Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science or related field.



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:


Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution, customer service, and a commitment to helping and/or restoring others; Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
