MSU Health Care Athletic Trainer
Position SummaryThe Athletic Trainer provides treatment to patients to restore and maximize function, reduce pain, and prevent disability under the direction and supervision of a medical provider.
Minimum RequirementsKnowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing one or two years of post- bachelor degree work, such as a Masters in Physical Education with relevant coursework in athletic training; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in all aspects of athletic training or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and certification by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
Desired QualificationsExperience working in a Sports Medicine clinic.
