The Special Assistant to the Head Coach provides strategic and operational support to the head coach of the basketball team. This role involves a mix of team coordination, and direct support in planning and executing strategies to enhance team performance. The Special Assistant will work closely with the coaching staff, players, and the athletic department to ensure smooth functioning and alignment with team goals.


Key Responsibilities:


- Assist the head coach in developing and implementing training programs and game strategies.


- Analyze game footage and provide feedback to coaching staff and players.


- Monitor and track team and individual performance metrics.


- Facilitate the integration of new coaching technologies and methodologies.


-Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required


Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required


Certification and Licensing:
Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements
