Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Collaborates with the curriculum Deans to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of the statewide Phase 1 foundational and clinical science curriculum, ensuring consistency and excellence across all campuses
Collaborates with the curriculum deans to provide oversight for the integrated statewide, competency-based curriculum, ensuring effective collaboration and successful outcomes
Coordinates with cross-phase efforts to map and manage the Phase 2 (Y3) and Phase 3 (Y4) curriculum
Collaborates with faculty to establish course objectives, identify gaps/redundancies, and track progress using project management tools
Develops and maintain academic calendars, verify and report credit/contact hours, and statewide faculty teaching efforts
Serves as an educational representative on school-wide committees, contributing to committee goals and initiatives, and recognizing their impacts on the broader educational program and other areas of the program
Develops and maintain a thorough understanding of LCME accreditation standards. Ensure compliance with LCME accreditation standards and promote continuous improvement using project management principles
Manages small to medium projects, from start to finish, ensuring on-time completion within scope and budget.
Develops project plan(s) and efficiently analyzes, tracks, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.
General Responsibilities
In coordination with educational leadership, faculty, and/or staff, designs curriculum for students, courses, degree programs, or schools.
Consults with faculty to determine curricular needs and identify gaps; creates course objectives and outcomes to reach targeted learning.
Reviews proposals to modify existing course curriculum and create new courses; ensures accuracy of information and determines whether proposal aligns with standards and objectives for the course.
Assists with preparation and dissemination of course materials, such as course syllabi, textbook selection, course packs, and other related materials.
Performs evaluation and assessment activities, ensuring consistency across purview, including observation of courses, preparation of course evaluation results, development of reports and outcomes for accreditation review, and analysis of feedback from faculty regarding curricular outcomes.
Manages curriculum mapping process.
May make process recommendations to manager for improved operational efficiency.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Work Location
Indianapolis, Indiana
This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule (mix between 3 days remote and 2 days in-person work), subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
