Job Description:

Job Title: Lead Superintendent - Multifamily


Reason for Opening: Phase 3+4 of new project breaking ground


Likely Start Date: March


Project:


  • Initial sitework for 3x 4-story wood-frame buildings on 1 and 2 level below-grade concrete podium structures.

  • A total of 620 units split between the three buildings.

  • Once vertical work begins, projects will likely be separated and run by two teams.

Candidate Requirements:


  • Must have 10+ years of construction experience and have been involved in podium-style builds.

  • Looking for someone who can be a leader and help run a team.

Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractors and organization of the overall job and workflow.

  • Coordinate and manage the care, custody, and control of the project site.

  • Lead various daily meetings with staff, as well as weekly trade meetings.

  • Effectively communicate key project information to the corporate team, general superintendent, governing authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers.

  • Manage a jobsite team, which may consist of assistant superintendent(s), punchout foreman, and/or general labor, including work schedules and duties, project progress, and resource allocation.

  • Assist the project manager in maintaining and updating the project schedule.

  • Maintain accurate daily logs, including photos and descriptions of work in progress.

  • Ensure quality compliance and company standards are enforced at all stages of the project.

  • Support project closeout by coordinating between the corporate team and governing authorities.


  • Requirements:

  • Multifamily construction experience; must have completed at least several Class A multifamily projects of similar size and complexity as a lead superintendent.

  • Podium experience; ideally, this candidate will have completed at least several podium-type multifamily projects of similar size and complexity.

  • Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and promptly.

  • Ability to apply fundamentals of the means and methods of construction management to projects.

  • Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.

  • Knowledge of specific trades and scopes of work.

  • Ability to read and understand all project documents.

  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.

  • Residency near Frisco, TX.

  • Recent experience working in Frisco is a plus.

  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
