Assistant Senior Environmental Services, Full-time, First Shift

UC Health is hiring a full-time Assistant Senior Environmental Services for the Daniel Drake Center.

The Assistant Senior Environmental Services will support Daniel Drake Hospital by working under close supervision, taking charge, and giving directions to other Environmental Services associates while performing the same duties as other associates in the group. They will regularly perform all tasks of department associates, including check-outs, stripping and waxing floors, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning and moving beds, moving furniture, and completing set-ups. Additionally, they will carry out typical leadership duties, such as transmitting work instructions from the supervisor to other associates, assigning work duties, training new employees, and managing the unit in the absence of the supervisor.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend written materials.
• Preferred: 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience.

• May assist in planning and implementing new procedures.
• Motivates associates to meet performance standards - helps associates or manager solve work problems.
• May inspect machines, equipment, incoming material and completed work.
