Description: Our client is currently seeking a Detail Equipment Engineer - Telecom in Richardson, TX


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• This individual will support the installation of the VCP network (iEN, 5G, C-band)
  
  
  The Data DE team is responsible for reviewing Planning build requirements relayed in the form of a Front Door Request (FDR), Power Space Request (PSR), Capacity Creation Request (CCR) then validate each input against client Business Standards.
  
  


• Once reviewed, DE is responsible for crafting a Pre-Engineering Checklist (PEC aka audit) that is sent to a Field Engineer to review and provide build supportive feedback/guidance. BOMs are researched, Drawings are crafted then inserted into the I-SPEC which captures all install instructions and identifies all cable runs.
  
  


• DE is also responsible for updating the Engineering inventory database for both installs and decommissions. The DE will ensure each install complies with engineering, financial, planning and operational standards.
  
  


• DE must be able to work in a dynamic environment where they are expected to react quickly and be flexible to respond and collaborate internally and/or with cross functional teams providing guidance related to systems, projects and processes.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MUST HAVE SKILLS:
  
  
  • 5-10 years related experience with Equipment/Detailed Engineering
  
  
  • Previous experience with Engineering systems & Databases
  
  
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in the MS Office suite
  
  
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  
  • Highly motivated, self-supervised, customer focused individual with organizational and
  
  
  leadership skills to push all projects to completion
  
  
  • Strong knowledge in job related functional area and of the telecommunications business
  
  
  • Technical degree strongly preferred
