Your Role: Driving excellence through technical expertise and innovation
Initiates claims against those individuals or companies and follows them through until full payment is received.
What You Will Do:
Receives audits and maintains the documentation packet from Emergency Response Coordinators which outlines accidents that have damaged highway property. It contains:
Incident/Accident Report
Police Report
Statement of Charges
Pictures, if applicable
Initiates claims against offending parties.
Monitors/responds to ongoing questions or requests for additional information.
Makes arrangements for payment options with uninsured/underinsured parties.
Initiates small claims processes for unpaid claims. Initiates bad debt write-offs.
Documents actions by accessing and entering data into Excel Access database.
Assists in providing monthly reports for Project Administrators.
Avoids legal challenges by complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Positively contribute to a diverse, inclusive and fair work environment, free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success
High School or GED Required, 2 Years college preferred
3-5 years' experience, Insurance industry experience preferred
Demonstrates innovation and creative problem solving skills
Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information
Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work and manage multiple projects
Proficient use of Microsoft Suite Software
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff across all functional areas of the business
