Position Summary



The Modern Retail Implementation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the onboarding process for newly contracted CDK Digital Retail (formerly Roadster) and Modern Retail dealer partners. In collaboration with Roadster's sales, training and engineering teams, you will ensure a smooth and timely transition from sale to launch, including managing dealer expectations and addressing all customization requests. The position is fully remote, and the Implementation team is staffed across the US.



Responsibilities




  • Implementation and Configuration: Set up, configure, and integrate third-party vendor information into Modern Retail products. Coordinate required trainings with the training team. Manage all implementation progress and deadlines.



  • Dealer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all dealer communications during the implementation process.



  • Data Coordination: Collaborate closely with dealer partners to gather necessary data feeds, product information, and customization settings such as markup rates, delivery radius settings, and product pricing.



  • Transition Management: In conjunction with the Sales Team, ensure a smooth handoff from the implementation stage to the training lead.



  • Quality Assessment: Conduct thorough Quality Assessments of the implementation process to verify pricing, inventory levels, dealer website integration, F&I product accuracy, and financial product accuracy.



  • Process Documentation: Regularly update and maintain documentation for implementation processes, ensuring clarity and accuracy for all team members, which supports consistency and quality.



  • Innovative Thinking: Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, suggesting and implementing new processes or tools that increase efficiency or enhance dealer satisfaction.





Qualifications



  • Ability to lead the development and implementation of new processes and teams in a startup or early-stage environment.


  • Proven experience to drive the scaling of operations from a local level and successfully replicate them in additional regions.


  • Utilize and manage software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


  • Experience with APIs, web services, and data feeds.


  • Effectively multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment focusing on Details.


  • Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills to manage cross-functional tasks.


  • Prioritize a customer-first approach in every decision and process.


  • Focus on building scalable processes with long-term growth in mind.





Preferred Qualifications



  • 2-5 years of combined operations and automotive experience


  • Thorough knowledge of automotive retail transactions, including financing, leasing, service and protection plan offerings, and trade-in valuations





Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000
