Step into Your New Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Microsoft specialist to join our dynamic team. As a SharePoint & Power Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and CoPilot Studio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient and user-friendly applications and workflows. Your expertise in leveraging SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities will contribute to enhancing our organization’s processes and driving innovation. This position is remote, location near one of Kleinfelder's offices is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Administration: Oversee the administration of the Power Platform environment, including managing environments, monitoring system health, and ensuring security compliance.

  • Data Governance: Implement and enforce data governance policies within Power Platform to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for SharePoint development and customization.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to design and develop SharePoint and Power Platform based solutions and ensure they align with business goals and requirements.

  • Power Apps Development: Build custom applications using Power Apps (Canvas Apps & Model Driven apps) to address specific business needs, considering user experience, data integration, and scalability.

  • Power Automate Development: Create automated workflows and processes using Power Automate to streamline tasks and improve operational efficiency.

  • SharePoint Development: Analyze requirements and design efficient, scalable, and easily maintainable SharePoint solutions including sites, libraries, lists, custom web parts, workflows, forms and applications.

  • Power BI Development: Design and develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization and analysis.

  • Data Integration: Integrate Power Platform solutions with various data sources, such as Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL databases, cloud services, and third-party applications.

  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues within SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, ensuring smooth functionality and performance.

  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of Power Platform solutions, including design, development, and configuration details.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with Power Platform updates, industry trends, and best practices, and apply them to enhance existing solutions and propose new ideas.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of Microsoft low-code/no-code solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience working in consulting and Architecture, Engineering, & Construction (AEC) industries strongly desired

  • Current up to date working experience with Microsoft Power Platform solutions (4+ years of related experience, including one year as Power Platform administrator)

  • Candidates with certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, and PL-600 are preferred

  • Experience configuring and customizing SharePoint using CLI scripts.

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting

  • Experience with Power Bi and SSRS reporting in the Power Platform environment

  • Strong understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem, including connectors, gateways, and data integrations.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Active Directory.

  • Solid knowledge of Power Apps formulas, expressions, and model-driven apps.

  • Experience in developing custom connectors, using APIs, and integrating external data sources with Power Platform solutions.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $75,850-$126,585
