Position type: Contract to Hire Duration: 12+ MOS. Location: Remote
As a Category/Procurement/Facilities Manageryou will:
Leads the strategic sourcing process including defining sourcing strategy, developing requests for solicitation from vendors, negotiating contracts, drafting contract language and facilitating post contract vendor relationship management in the selection and management of various suppliers
Lead and manage the procurement process for facilities, construction, and building projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions, compliance with regulations, and timely delivery of services and materials.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and vendors, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and performance metrics to optimize procurement efficiency.
Oversee the evaluation, selection, and management of suppliers and contractors for building projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and quality standards.
Develop and maintain technical and business expertise in the assigned spend category(s) or functional area supported
Responsible for driving ongoing productivity improvements in the spend category
Responsible for developing, implementing and managing the requisition, purchase order and fulfillment processes within the assigned spend category
Coach and provide consultation to clients, resolve vendor disputes and drive procurement best practices across all divisions/departments/business units for assigned category
Responsible for monitoring and managing optimal internal client satisfaction while mitigating risk assumed by the organization
Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or a technical discipline related to the category or function supported or significant procurement or business job experience required
Successful, multi-year track record in procurement activities or similar business experience required
C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or other Procurement Professional certification, education, or training required
Must have the ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for facilities and construction projects, including identifying, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality outcomes.
Expertise in negotiating contracts and managing risks associated with construction and facilities procurement ensuring compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
Proven experience in managing procurement budgets for large-scale construction and facilities projects, with a focus on cost control, forecasting, and delivering projects within financial constraints.
Strong analytical skills to monitor industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and market conditions related to facilities and construction procurement, enabling proactive decision-making and procurement strategies.

Pay Range*: 70hr W2-75hr W2 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
