Meta is seeking an Education Partnerships Manager who will be responsible for driving the account development and management of a set portfolio of EDU partners including Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), content, curriculum, LMS, and education tools & platform partners. In this role, you will guide your partners through their journey, working cross-functionally across the RL organization to ensure that partner offerings are aligned with business goals, with a heavy focus on delivering solutions against targeted education use cases. The successful SPM will develop internal and external relationships to drive partner success, establishing a partner-led model designed to accelerate adoption of our RL education product offering.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is experienced working in a rapidly changing environment and takes a proactive and strategic approach to partner management. They will need to bridge short term goals with longer term strategy and execute a well-ordered framework of action with little to no direction.
Education Partnerships Manager Responsibilities:
Work with partners to target and grow adoption of their education specific applications, content and services by developing comprehensive business plans for a portfolio of partners, and identify short and long-term strategic goals and tactical execution.
Guide your partners to build solutions aligned with education use cases, customer and commercial market opportunities.
Establish and foster relationships with executive stakeholders through partner organization, to increase buy in and investment in joint priorities and customer opportunities.
Drive performance management of managed partners through business reviews to discuss overall performance and to measure against partners' goals and business plans.
Drive continuous managed partner portfolio optimization based on partners' performance as measured by customer/sales pipeline, solution selling potential, co-sell/co-market qualification potential, and partner impact based on product roadmap.
Work with sales teams to establish a process to track and manage partner sourced sales opportunities to accelerate sales.
Collaborate with partners to identify an effective and scalable path to market for education solutions, including Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.
Provide signal to PM organizations on partner requirements to help inform the education roadmap.
Identify opportunities for case studies, solution bundles, channel partner programs and co-sell.
Partner advocate with RL Marketing, PMM, and Commercial Sales teams to identify opportunities for case studies, customer success stories, solution bundles, channel and co-sell programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a partner-facing role in the education technology market
Experience with education specific stakeholders
Strategic advisor and executive relationship management experience driving adoption of education solutions within lower and higher education institutions.
Experience implementing effective joint GTM programs for education partners
Sound business judgment and experience prioritizing and triage partner-related issues, solution-find, and effectively motivate internal and external stakeholders to work towards a common goal
Superb communication skills
Technical competence of MR technology especially as it relates to classroom learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Highly strategic and experienced in working with cross-functional teams to orchestrate, collaborate, and successfully seize opportunities
Can work within a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and can develop working relationships, garner respect, and grow influence inside and outside the RL organization
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized
Familiarity with Salesforce
