Job Description

• Performs sample prep including operation of smoking machines and/or wet chemistry techniques


• Performs routine analysis in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products, including wet chemistry techniques, some instrumental techniques and/or physical tests


• Documents results in notebooks and laboratory LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)


• Performs instrument calibration and is able to recognize errors


• Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements


• Communicates effectively with client staff members


• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

This role supports testing on tobacco products.




Qualifications

• At minimum, a completed High School Diploma


• Previously laboratory experience is preferred


• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information



This position is Full-Time,Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00p.m. with overtime as needed and the potential for some off shift hours as dependent on project. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Winston-Salem, NCare encouraged to apply.
