We are seeking a mid-level Sustainability Professional with technical expertise in climate risk assessment and disclosureto join our growing Climate Risk and Water Stewardship team.
This position is structured for someone with advanced technical expertise in climate change advisory, with a strong emphasis on the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) framework alignment and climate risk assessment, including scenario analysis and the financialization of climate-related risks. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating technical, financial, and management skills to lead projects and deliver client-facing sustainability services.
The successful candidate will advise on climate change strategy across multiple sectors, including consumer products, industrial manufacturing, technology, and others. Assignments may also extend to other Sustainability Practice offerings.
Where will I work?
This position can be remote, however if an Antea Group office is located within close proximity, a flexible work model will be expected. If there is a hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office periodically and/or as requested for in-person meetings, mentorship, and collaboration with other team members.
This is a full-time position with up to 10% travel anticipated. The preferred candidate must be located in the continental US.
Education and Training
BS in Climate Science, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
4-7 years of experience in relevant business consulting, or similar experience in corporate responsibility management at a private or public company.
Desired Experience
Extensive knowledge of climate-related financial disclosure requirements, including the TCFD framework and International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) standards.
Proven experience in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and climate-related risk management.
Strong background in climate risk modeling, scenario analysis, and financial impact assessments.
Expertise in regulatory standards and global best practices related to climate-related financial disclosures.
Proficiency with carbon accounting, emissions reporting (Scope 1, 2, and 3), and climate metrics development.
Experience integrating climate-related risk considerations into enterprise risk management frameworks, ideally through developing Climate Action/ Low Carbon Transition Plans.
Proficiency in working with stakeholders across business units to align sustainability strategies with financial goals.
Experience in driving multi-phase projects to completion working with diverse project teams and multiple stakeholders.
Excellent data analysis and visualization skills, including the use of relevant software and tools for climate risk assessments.
Strong communication skills with experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior management, boards, and investors.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$110,000.00. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
