Job Description:

Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is a global provider of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) services and solutions across multiple industries. We are seeking a mid-level Sustainability Professional to join our growing Sustainability Corporate Reporting and Disclosure (CRD) team.


As a Sustainability Professional within our Corporate Reporting and Disclosure (CRD) team, you will support a variety of assignments including drafting client sustainability reports, conducting benchmark assessments against clients' industry peers, and generating readiness gap assessments for our clients as they prepare for compliance with evolving disclosure regulations such as California's SB 219 and EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). You may periodically interact directly with clients, ensuring that products meet Antea Group's quality and brand standards, are delivered on time, and stay within budget.



Where will I work?



This position can be remote, however if an Antea Group office is located within close proximity, a flexible work model will be expected. If there is a hybrid work environment, it is expected that this position report to the office periodically and/or as requested for in-person meetings, mentorship, and collaboration with other team members.


This is a full-time position with less than 10% travel anticipated. The preferred candidate must be located in the continental US.



Essential Functions included but are not limited to:



  • Lead benchmark and gap analyses for our clients to understand their current state and readiness for compliance with voluntary and mandatory disclosure standards or frameworks.

  • Collect, analyze, and manage client data from various sources to generate and inform reporting narratives.

  • Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports, presentations, and other communication materials for clients.

  • Contribute to the development of sustainability communication strategies with our clients by leveraging background knowledge and subject matter expertise.

  • Self-manage tasks ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products within the assigned budget.


Education and Training

  • BS in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Sustainable Business, Law, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability analysis, corporate or legal reporting, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of sustainability-related laws and regulations is a significant advantage.


Desired Experience



  • Experience performing benchmark and gap analyses to identify clients' current state and compliance readiness.

  • Experience that demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of major mandatory sustainability-related disclosures such as EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and California SB 219.

  • Proficiency with preparing reports in accordance with frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

  • Experience using third-party reporting platforms such as EcoVadis, CDP, and other sustainability rater/ranker systems and tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects

  • Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching)

  • Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change)

  • Operation of a motor vehicle




COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS


The salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00 annually. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
