Position Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: 1910 Gun Club Road, Aurora, CO, USA
Salary: 80,000-88,000 per year


Description:

Responsible for training and development of warehouse staff, efficiency of warehouse operations and overall divisional warehouse functions.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible for recommendations and execution of procedures involving shipping, receiving, inventory and all aspects of warehouse procedures, including communication with purchasing and sales.
• Implement, support and enforce safety programs and guidelines.
• Select, train, direct and motivate employees.
• Appraise performance and recommend salary actions.
• Direct day and night warehouse crew and delivery drivers through Lead personnel.
• Schedule and insure accurate receiving and put away of WAXIE stock.
• Ensure WAXIE delivery trucks are safely and accurately loaded.
• Ensure WAXIE drivers demonstrate outstanding customer service and safe working and driving habits.
• Ensure all DOT rules and regulations are strictly enforced.
• Responsible for maintaining safe working conditions in warehouse, including safe storage of hazardous products.

Skills and Requirements
• Prior management experience (distribution and warehousing environment preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a good to excellent proficiency level in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous AS400 (Aplus) experience is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to obtain a WAXIE forklift license (WAXIE to provide training).
• Bachelor's degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
