Overall Purpose: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and data-driven recommendations to achieve and optimize organizational financial objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models for business forecasting. Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management. • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting updates. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and timely budget submissions. • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support internal and external audits. • Variance and Investment Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget/forecast, providing insights and corrective actions. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and prepare recommendations. • Other Duties as Assigned: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide mentorship to junior analysts, and continuously seek process improvements. Perform special financial analyses and other tasks as required by senior management.
