The Internal Sales Analyst's role is to provide sales support for an assigned geographic territory while assisting the External Regional Specialist and the Senior Internal Analyst in client service-related activities. They will gain an understanding of the region, assist in prospecting efforts to develop relationships, and actively solicit new investment product sales through telephone outreach to Financial Advisors at wire houses (UBS, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo) or other assigned distribution networks. The position will aid the External Regional Specialist in pursuit of territory sales goals through sharing sales ideas, providing product information, gathering marketing data, and offering general sales support. Additionally, the role will actively maintain existing sales relationships by providing fund updates, qualify and schedule meetings with new prospects and on occasion participate in calls/meetings with end clients.
The Internal Sales Analyst will participate in weekly team meetings and be expected to share sales and service-related experiences and best practices with other members of the Carlyle Private Wealth internal sales team. They will work with their regional team to help streamline efficiencies and work on ad-hoc projects. The Internal Sales Analyst is an integral part of the success of the territory and this role provides the opportunity to gain broad and varied experience and career advancement.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
70% of time
Make proactive, outbound sales calls to financial advisors in geographic territory to identify prospects and schedule quality meetings for the External Regional Specialist and the Senior Internal Analyst with producing or potentially producing financial advisors. Develops relationships, uncovers opportunities, and initiates sales process.
10% of time
Follow-up with incoming leads as well as answer incoming phone calls and email inquiries generated by External Regional Specialist and Senior Internal Analyst activity, conduct marketing and/or email campaigns.
10% of time
The Internal Sales Analyst is the first line of defense for all client service-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including Legal, Compliance, Accounting/Tax and various product specialists and fund management professionals to solve service items for clients of Carlyle Private Wealth.
5% of time
Work closely with team members to develop and execute an appropriate business plan to maximize territory sales.
5% of time
Assist with administrative duties when necessary, including organizing and maintaining spreadsheets and entering activity into DealCloud CRM.
Qualifications
Requirements
Education, Licensing & Certificates
• College degree required.
• Min GPA 3.30
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required (or must be obtained within 90 days)
Professional Experience
• 1-2 years of prior Sales / Marketing experience is preferred. Knowledge of financial services, particularly alternative investments, a plus

Benefits/Compensation
The compensation range for this role is specific to New York City and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $105,000.

Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
