Job Summary
The Procurement Data & Analytics Manager role will ensure that implemented procurement processes, technology and enablers are consistent with the business objectives. The manager will evaluate, design and implement a robust user friendly, efficient and effective 'digital procurement' experience, specifically related to procurement data and analytics. This role is responsible for the Procurement data and analytics strategy and execution across a diverse and complex technical and organizational landscape.

Job Responsibilities
Develop, Design & Implement the overall Procurement data and analytics strategy globally, implementing various initiatives across the organization
Manages the global CRH Category tree (internal taxonomy based on e-class structure) and manages the master mapping of the CRH category tree to all local ERPs within Snowflake. Understands the CRH and local taxonomies
Works with other PPR, divisional procurement and ERP owners to constantly identify areas for data quality improvement. Proactively improves data quality within their control and provides the analysis and specific data to colleagues in areas where action is needed from others (accurate classification of invoices & PO's)
Works with the businesses to understand additional data needs and works across various Procurement teams and with internal IT partners to ensure additional data sources are integrated and necessary analytics and dashboards can be provided from the data
Provides ad-hoc support to category and divisional teams for specific analysis, as required
Provides ad-hoc analysis & support to Procurement leadership
Develops and drives AI strategy & practical execution. Working with IT and approved AI solutions, utilizes AI to enhance value from our data and provide to the Procurement community
Coach and train employees up to an adequate skill set and capability to deliver the agreed output and performance against the agreed quality
Job Requirements
Expert knowledge of the use of technology as an enabler for enhancing procurement - specifically related to procurement data and analytics
Expert knowledge of the relevant procurement data - ability to utilize what is currently in place to provide value to internal customers within divisions, OpCos and category teams and also builds plan to enhance and improve data to continually provide better insights and more value to the organization
5+ years working with data-driven business process improvement across various systems
Ability to focus on continuous improvement - solving data quality issues at the source, troubleshooting, while also delivering existing data & analytics solutions
Good business, commercial and financial acumen - specifically in the procurement realm
Able to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization, across all business functions and to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Very strong planning, organizing and execution skills
Act as the main interface to Divisional and OpCo IT - specifically the internal divisional IT team that will be supporting procurement across the group in data and analytics
Very strong analytical and process improvement skills
Demonstrated ability to remain effective and productive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Occasional travel will be required for team meetings
Fluent in English
Expert in Excel & various technologies to manage and transform data structures
Expert knowledge in Tableau, Snowflake (Qlik a plus), SQL, Alteryx

He or she is educated to a Bachelor degree level, preferable in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics or equal through experience.
8 or more years of Procurement experience, preferably in international setting, 5 years of people management experience
Experience leading international projects with diverse teams
