Job Description
The Sr. Manager, Rare Disease Field Training Lead is responsible for the professional skill development and execution efforts across the full Rare Disease sales team. This includes the pull-though of trainings that range from new hire through advanced & on-going developmental needs of the nation across the portfolio. In this highly visible, cross-functional role, this individual will partner closely with field leadership, commercial training, marketing, operations, HR, patient services, legal, compliance, and reimbursement to ensure consistent, sustained, and hands-on executional excellence by the HCP-facing field team.
They will assume indirect reporting of the Field Force Trainers. In addition, the role will be accountable for new hires throughout the on-boarding process to ensure compliant and effective implementation of knowledge, skills, and processes. In this role, the incumbent will work closely with the field and field leadership by frequent field exposure to identify & share best practices, determine development needs, serve as a coaching partner for field leadership and be a positive force with the on-going goal of executional excellence.
As an expert in the HCP journey, the role will be the liaison between the field, Rare Disease leadership and home office cross-functional partners as well as any external vendors to support the on-going development and operational needs across the rare disease portfolio for the sales team. S/he will be responsible for effective training, coaching, and operational excellence in line with all approved marketing materials and approved messages. To maximize efforts, this individual will report to the Head of Sales and participate as a member of the sales leadership team.

The base compensation range for this role is $144,000 - $193,000. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen's LTI grants and other incentive programs.
