Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time) at Hendrickson in Woodridge, Illinois

Looking for some hands-on, real world accounting experience?

Hendrickson is searching for a part-time Accounts Payable Clerk to join their accounting team in Woodridge, IL.


Position Purpose:


Work within the accounting department performing various tasks within Accounts Payable, and general accounting functions.


Essential Functions:




Accounts Payable - Prepare, print and distribute check runs weekly and manual checks as required. Perform A/P vendor maintenance. Provides back-up and assistance to Accounting Representative as required.



Miscellaneous- Produces various daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested. Assists with special projects to support departmental goals and objectives. Ensure all records are filed and well organized.



Education and Training


Currently enrolled in an Assoicate or Bachelor's degree program in Accounting or Business.



Minimum Qualifications


1 year of experience in the Accounting Field.

A/P experience beneficial.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications primarily in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.



Physical Demands


Frequent sitting and working at computer for extended periods of time.


Environmental Conditions


Office setting.

Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.



Behavioral Traits


Good communication and interpersonal skills.


In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the salary range for this position is $20.00-23.00 per hour depending on the student's class standing. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. This pay range is provided to ensure transparency and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
