SUMMARY:
This Job would involve working as a Pigging field technician, primarily responsible for operating and maintaining pipeline systems by using specialized cleaning devices called "pigs" to remove debris, liquids, and other contaminants from the pipeline without shutting down the flow, ensuring the pipeline's functionality and compliance with safety regulations; tasks may include launching and receiving pigs, monitoring pressure and flow rates during pigging operations, and maintaining related equipment at pipeline sites
JOB DUTIES:
Launching and receiving pipeline pigs using dedicated equipment at designated launch and receiving stations.
Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining pigging equipment such as launchers, receivers, and pigs themselves.
Traveling to various pipeline locations to perform pigging operations as needed.
Understand chemical treatment of pipelines
Communicate issues and questions to immediate supervisor in a timely and thorough manner
Interact with customer and other field personnel to answer questions and resolve issues
Perform preventive maintenance/cleaning on Pigs after daily use
Knowledge of valve and well pressures while on oilfield locations
Ability to use phone app-based system to perform service and communicate all customer location visits and to create shipping papers and make deliveries when necessary, Accurately documenting pigging operations, including pig type, run time, pressure readings, and any observations
Perform tailgate analysis/failure reporting when necessary
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of chemical process and utilization in yard and field operations
Maintain company property in good order (equipment, tools, computer, phones, trucks, etc.)
Required to wear appropriate PPE/safety gear in accordance with company policy
Keeps current on safety techniques and takes advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills
Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
Adheres to company safety policies and guidelines

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
High School Diploma or GED
Acceptable driving record for a minimum of 3 years
0-2 years of oil and gas employment or equivalent education and experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:
Basic math skills
Computer skills
Previous oil and gas well experience
Understanding of fundamental chemical properties (oil/water solubility)
Experience in and competent knowledge of chemical batch treatment process
Understanding of well and valve pressures
