Summary:
The HR Partner will execute a strategic approach to optimize human capital, contributing to the achievement of business unit objectives. This role will closely collaborate with People Operations and the Centers of Excellence (COEs) to create a safe environment for our team and leverage our Employee Value Proposition. The focus will be on the retention and development of team members while driving business results.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide input and implement HR strategies to drive the organization's vision.
Assist in the development and implementation of plans and programs to ensure the most effective utilization of HR resources.
Influence team member behavior to promote key safety and HR principles.
Identify and address risk-generating patterns in Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) using available resources.
Champion Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity (EID) initiatives.
Build team member networks that promote feedback for corrective scenarios where adverse business conditions exist.
Identify patterns of behavior that may lead to team member dissatisfaction and develop strategies to eliminate them.
Provide coaching to support leadership development and decision-making to drive performance and productivity.
Partner with COEs and People Operations on the design and implementation of onboarding and orientation experiences for new team members.
Work with leaders to determine workforce strategies and partner with COEs and People Operations for execution.
Manage grievances and collaborate closely with Labor Relations (LR) COE to identify and communicate potential violations of contracts/Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs).
Play an active role in the evaluation of talent and development.
Monitor the success of programs and policies against ROI targets and adjust as team member experience and business requirements dictate.
Implement innovative programs that prepare the workforce for future needs while addressing current business requirements.
Support the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and talent enablement process improvements by identifying and communicating opportunities and providing input on potential solutions.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of higher education.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in standard computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. The ability to communicate recommendations and influence across a broad range of team members is essential. The candidate must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
Special Skills:
Significant knowledge in HR strategy execution and the ability to implement at various organizational levels.
Ability to drive improvement and integration of processes, technology, and people through workforce shaping.
Strong analytical skills to drive efficiencies.
Maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
