Position Overview



Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to join their client's dynamic team in Connecticut. As an integral member of the Department, this role involves utilizing computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients, aiding in the diagnosis of medical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized testing procedures appropriate to the radiology specialty.


• Set up, operate, and maintain testing equipment.


• Process exams and duplicate films, including both hard and soft (PACS) copies.


• Instruct and serve as a source of information on testing techniques, procedures, and equipment operation.


• Assist in radiology exams as directed by the radiologist.


• Support management in upgrading equipment.


• Assist in budget development.


• Act as a liaison with repair personnel.


• Order and maintain an inventory of supplies; manage disposal inventory per department protocol.


• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Radiographer licensure and Certification in CT technology are required*

Required Work Hours/Pay



37.5 hours/week- 8:30 - 5


$34 per hour
