We are searching for a dynamic, forward-thinking Lead, Responsible AI. This role requires a strong blend of technical proficiency, strategic planning, and a deep-rooted commitment to the ethical application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
Your Team
As a Lead, Responsible AI in the Global Responsible AI Team, you will join a team of change agents who specialize in ensuring that AI is designed, developed, procured and used in a manner that aligns with Prudential’s core values and operating principles. You will partner with data scientists, product owners, tech and business leads, designers, engineers, delivery professionals and cross functional governance teams to integrate, streamline, and operationalize Responsible AI practices throughout the enterprise. Responsible AI is responsible for establishing and providing a centralized and comprehensive source of truth for AI initiatives to enable visibility, accountability, and reusability throughout the AI Product development and usage lifecycle. The program, processes, technology and tools are intended to enable a common firm-wide AI governance standard that propels safe and scaled adoption of AI innovation while ensuring principal adherence domestic and international legal, ethical and regulatory requirements. The organization provides solutions and advice for AI initiatives by registering, risk assessing, testing and monitoring AI Product use cases prior to deploying to production for business reliance.

This role is based in our office in Newark, NJ. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis at least 3 days per week. For those outside of the commutable Newark location, we are open to virtual work arrangements
