Work directly with internal departments to address new product transfer engineering needs.
Generate and edit standard operating procedures using Change Control.
Conduct process analysis and root cause analysis for manufacturing processes utilizing PPI / DMAIC tools to promote a disciplined investigation approach.
Actively interface with the Manufacturing group and other departments in problem solving concerning equipment and systems.
Study and recommend techniques to improve existing products/processes.
Develop manufacturing documentation such as engineering changes, BOMs, fab drawings, flow diagrams, SOPs, Procedures, and assembly drawings.
TRAVEL: Up to 5% domestic or international travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: MINIMUM Education Requirement:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or Industrial & Systems Engineering.
MINIMUM Experience Requirement:
3 years' experience as an Industrial Engineer.

Designing and working on high volume production lines and new product development;
Building a product from New Product Development stage to Mass Production Stage;
Lean Six Sigma subject matter expertise (DMAIC);
Discrete Process Simulation (Arena, Simulink, Anylogic, etc.);
Building cost models, and capacity modelling;
FDA standard (Title 21CFR Part 820) and ISO 13485 Standard (Medical Devices);
3D modeling and drafting skills (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Pro- E, Solidworks, or CATIA);
Design failure mode and effect analysis (DFMEA), design for manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and Quality Function Deployment (QFD);

Compensation and Benefits
The salary pay range estimated for this position Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering based inNew York is $112,507.00-$140,000.00.
