Job Summary

Comcast Business Mobile is a key product in the overall Comcast Business solution for small business customers. Our product management team helps in developing and launching solutions that meet and exceed customer needs. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to steer products from inception to market, ensuring they align with our business goals and customer expectations.
The Product Owner will be responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives through research and analysis of functional/business needs of applicable provisioning and support systems. Participates in software/hardware releases, rigorous testing, installation tasks and supports implementation planning and other operational preparations. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex systems problems. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Core Responsibilities


  • Embrace & embody an Agile mindset

  • Developing scalable processes to support and benefit the Company's architecture vision using tools that facilitate agile development such as Collaborate, Confluence, Miro Board, Jira, Rally, Salesforce, AgileCraft etc.

  • Works with Software Developers and collaborates on cross-functional teams in design and development. Assesses and revises test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design. Coordinates component, system and documentation testing with the appropriate technical groups and leadership teams.

  • Partner closely with product, sales, operations, technology, and architecture teams to bring the product vision to life, delivering features in a lean, iterative, and nimble way

  • Build, prioritize and maintain backlog of user stories to achieve business goals and outcomes

  • Prepares detailed functional and technical specifications for business requirements and solutions

  • Interacts with end users to gather requirements and scope of effort. Performs analysis of user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.

  • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related systems and predicts impact of a change in an assigned system.

  • Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.

  • Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the systems meet the requirements. Participates in unit, integration and test procedures. Compares test results against requirements to validate that coding is accurate.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and other Product Owners to define and coordinate feature development across other teams

  • Be on-site in Philadelphia or Denver office 4-days per week

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Experience writing and refining user stories for software teams

  • Experience with Agile tools such as Rally, Jira, Version One, etc.

  • Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) is a plus

  • OSS/BSS experience is a plus

  • Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methods and processes is a plus

  • Experience in the telecommunications or wireless industry is a plus
