REQUIREMENTS
1. Education/Experience:
a. Bachelor’s degree in computer related field and five (5) years of IT experience preferred.
b. If lacking a Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s/Technical school degree in computer related field and eight (8) years of IT experience
required.
2. Ability to assist in the administration of information systems to support a complex agency, both financially and programmatically.
3. Preference for competency in enterprise applications in a healthcare environment including clinical, EMR, financial and support
software
4. Ability to develop and teach curriculum of information systems topics to staff of varying levels of competence with computers and
related applications.
5. Physical Requirements: Must have physical dexterity in order to move and install various computer equipment.
6. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
8. Must be able to adjust hours to job requirements.
9. Must have acceptable PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.
10. Ability to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
KNOWLEDGE AREAS:
1. Knowledge of networking concepts, including servers, routers, firewalls, wireless access points
2. Knowledge of computer hardware including laptops, printers, and mobile devices
3. Application/System Administration: Google Workspace, Avast, Windows 20XX Server Administration, Zix Encryption/Threat
Protection, Adobe Sign
4. Competency in enterprise applications in a healthcare environment including clinical, EMR, financial and support software
5. The ability to transform requirements through analysis, support and interaction with the clinical and business partners that leads to
developing strategies, specification creation, form, datastore and report development, system testing and implementation of
solutions.
5. Ability to perform various end user management functions as required by the software systems.
6. Demonstrated competency with desktop/laptop operating systems, including current Microsoft operating system.
7. Proficiency in productivity tools with emphasis on Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
8. Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA Security Regulations
AGENCY EXPECTATIONS:

CORE COMPETENCIES:
1. Work under the direction of the V.P. of I.S. in the analysis, evaluation, implementation and modifications of current and proposed
systems, applications and related devices. Including but not limited to:
a. Google Workspace configuration and administration
b. Mobile Device Management solutions for tablets and mobile phones
c. Ticketing system
d. Hosted RingCentral phone system
2. Work under the direction of the V.P. of I.S. in the creation of specification documents for development projects for in-house and
vendor projects, actively design forms, datastores and reports as needed
3. Work with the Network Administrator to assist in maintaining a network infrastructure that is available at least 99.5% of the time.
Work with the Network Administrator in maintaining on-site and hosted telephone solutions.
4. Provide onsite and remote technical support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
5. Utilize the support ticketing application to thoroughly document efforts, monitor issues and ensure timely resolution of support
requests
6. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks;
participating in professional organizations
