• 1-3 years of shipping and logistics experience.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Experience with Oracle and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).


• Hazmat knowledge and certification preferred.


• Familiarity with KPI metrics and 6S standards.


• Previous forklift experience with certification or willingness to become certified


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.


• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packaging, and shipping.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.


• Ability to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.


• Ability to take initiative and anticipate needs, work independently with minimal guidance, and also work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:

• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 50% of the time.

This role will support the day-to-day operations of our shipping and logistics processes. This role is key to ensuring the accurate and on-time delivery of materials, efficient carrier coordination, proper documentation handling, and the resolution of shipping issues. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency, and a customer-centric approach, along with prior shipping experience and familiarity with Oracle, WMS, and hazmat procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• 
  Freight & Order Processing: Enter freight charges in Oracle and close orders accurately and promptly.


• 
  Shipping Management: Handle shipping issues, manual shipments, and coordinate pickups with carriers.


• 
  Forklift & Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment for shipping tasks.


• 
  Documentation & Compliance: Create and maintain all shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance, including hazardous material requirements.


• 
  Carrier & Communication: Serve as the point of contact for carriers and internal teams, addressing shipment issues, preparing BOLs, and resolving customer complaints.


• 
  Safety & Efficiency: Follow safety protocols, maintain warehouse organization, and support daily operations to meet KPIs and quality standards.


• 
  Record Keeping & System Use: Maintain accurate shipment records and enter data into various shipping systems.


• 
  Preparation & Packaging: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of each shipment.

  Collaboration: Work with service support teams to resolve shipping needs and issues.
