Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Manager to lead and manage our sales support team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of sales operations, provide strategic support to the sales team, and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day sales processes. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to improve overall sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and mentor the sales support team, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent support to the sales organization.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the sales support function, including order processing, contract management, customer communication, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to streamline processes, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Implement best practices and continuously improve sales support processes to enhance team productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, customer service, finance, and logistics) to ensure a seamless flow of information and smooth execution of sales-related tasks.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Prepare regular reports and sales performance reviews for leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to ensure the effective execution of client orders, resolving issues and obstacles as they arise.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of sales collateral, proposals, pricing models, and client contracts.
  • Ensure the sales support team is properly trained on sales tools, CRM systems, and internal processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional support and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Monitor the performance of the sales support team, providing coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new sales support team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in sales support, sales operations, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients.

• Advanced proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in sales forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.

• A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service and support.

• Detail-oriented, with a high degree of accuracy in work.
