Your Role:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for developing and supervising personnel and directing day-to-day operations in the manufacture of high purity chemicals and equipment products for the semiconductor industry. The primary objectives for this position are to define and enforce safe work practices, oversee the production of top-quality product, minimize costs, maximize productivity, develop production systems and processes, and address production and personnel issues. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing 6 to 20 Manufacturing Technicians. Specific Responsibilities Include:
EH&S: Anticipate and address unsafe conditions or practices. Promote and recognize safety compliance and innovation. Enforce safety policies and handle violations. Lead or participate in Hazard and Operability studies, Operational Readiness Investigations, Product Risk Reviews, Hazard Reviews, and Near Miss investigations and resolutions
Quality: Ensure departmental compliance with and active participation in quality programs, processes, and events. Gather quality improvement suggestions, provide feedback, and implement changes as necessary. Lead and participate in quality improvement projects and other related initiatives. Oversee quality investigations and address issues with appropriate safety and quality solutions
Operations: Ensure manufacturing objectives and schedules are met. Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives. Verify that products meet quality specifications and investigate any discrepancies. Initiate and support the development of engineering projects
Supervision: Develop the skills and performance of production employees. Write and conduct performance evaluations. Publicly recognize outstanding individual and team achievements. Provide counseling to employees as needed. Train and oversee training initiatives. Interview candidates for the department and conduct written, verbal, and functional qualification tests. Foster a culture of safety and quality-focused performance for both individuals and teams
Administration: Write, revise, and audit operational procedures. Address customer complaints and conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations. Present findings at site meetings. Monitor work area performance, including safety, quality, and throughput, as well as SAP transactions, record-keeping, inventory management, expenditures, attendance, and other factors critical to tracking production unit performance

Physical Attribute:
Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
Wear appropriate PPE ( including full face respirators) while working around hazardous materials
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years of people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Industrial Engineering
5+ years of work experience in chemical manufacturing
Hazardous materials handling experience
Safety Systems knowledge and understand Safety Data Sheets, technical drawings, and P&ID's
Understanding of warehousing and inventory control
Familiarity with SOX process as related to inventory and material handling
Understanding of Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of 8D investigation methodology
Chemical knowledge and handling experience
Experience conducting employee evaluations
Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
