Position Summary — The Marina Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the marina, cabin rentals, and RV park, ensuring efficient, safe, and customer-focused services. This role includes managing staff, maintaining facilities, and fostering positive relationships with boat owners, cabin renters, RV travelers, and visitors. Additionally, the Marina Supervisor ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while upholding high operational standards.

Essential Functions — An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation.



  • Staff Supervision & Performance Management: Oversee and supervise staff, including reviewing timecards, administering corrective actions, and managing scheduling. Monitor and evaluate employee performance to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to organizational standards.


  • Inventory & Supply Management: Track and maintain inventory levels for marina supplies, fuel, cabin amenities, and RV park equipment. Order necessary supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and smooth operations.


  • Customer & Tenant Relations: Review rental applications and assess applicant eligibility. Build and maintain strong relationships with boat owners, cabin renters, and RV travelers to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.


  • Facility Maintenance & Operations: Ensure all facilities, including docks, ramps, cabins, RV sites, storage areas, and amenities—are well-maintained and fully operational.


  • Preventative Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinate routine inspections and preventative maintenance for marina infrastructure, cabins, and RV park amenities. Address repair and maintenance needs promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain a safe, functional environment.


  • Financial Oversight & Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation and oversee operational expenses to ensure financial efficiency. Monitor billing and payment processes for marina services, cabin rentals, and RV park fees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.


  • Compliance & Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for staff, guests, and property. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to marina operations, cabin rentals, RV park management, environmental standards, and boating safety.


  • Performance Analysis & Process Improvement: Analyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications 


  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of purchasing and receiving experience.

  • At least one (1) year of experience using Microsoft Excel.

  • One (1) year of general office experience.

  • Customer service experience preferred.

Other Requirements — Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements — Position requires sitting at a desk, the ability to twist, stoop, bend, use extensive and repetitive hand movements, and lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods and check in merchandise.

Work Environment — Must be able to work in an outdoor environment at the marina and campground/RV park in all weather conditions. Must be able to work in a casino environment that includes elevated levels of smoke, dust, noise, and bright flashing lights..

Special Working Conditions — Position requires flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays as needed, in all weather conditions.
