Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, solve complex business challenges, and deliver high-quality applications that improve operational efficiency.

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days a week (typically Tue, Wed, Thu) in office (Northfield); Then in Northbrook in summer of this year.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development Leadership


  • Design and develop comprehensive solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Power Pages


  • Architect robust data models and implement complex business logic


  • Create and optimize workflows and business processes using Power Automate


  • Develop custom connectors and integrate with external systems through APIs


  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions


  • Ensure solutions adhere to best practices for security, performance, and scalability


  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts


  • Document technical specifications and maintain solution documentation


Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience developing with Microsoft Power Platform


  • Advanced expertise in Power Apps development (both Canvas and Model-driven)


  • Strong proficiency with Power Automate for complex workflow automation


  • Experience building and maintaining Power Pages sites


  • Solid understanding of Dataverse (formerly Common Data Service)


  • Proficiency with SharePoint and SharePoint Online integration


  • Proficiency in JavaScript or React for extending platform capabilities


  • Experience with API integration and custom connector development


  • Knowledge of SQL and database design principles


  • Familiarity with Azure services complementary to Power Platform


  • Experience with DevOps & ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices


  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Additional Preferred Qualifications


  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Developer Expert certification


  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analytics


  • Experience with AI Builder and/or Power Virtual Agents


  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 applications


  • Experience with Agile development methodologies


  • Background in business process analysis and optimization


The qualified candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise across all aspects of the Power Platform, possess strong problem-solving capabilities, and exhibit excellent communication skills. They will combine hands-on development proficiency with the ability to architect scalable solutions, while bringing a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into efficient digital solutions.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$110,240.00 - $165,360.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
